Last week was extremely exciting, as we were announced winner of the Commercialisation of Mobile Data in partnership with EE category at IC tomorrow’s Digital Innovation Contest, which took place at BL-NK in London.
Along with winners from four other categories in this challenging competition, we were selected and awarded funding of up to £25,000 by the Technology Strategy Board’s IC Tomorrow program, to enable us to develop innovative solutions with commercial potential.
The prestigious National contest involved pitches from a total of 15 finalists, in which we each had to showcase our capabilities and ideas to a panel of expert judges. With just ten minutes each to pitch, four winners were selected and announced at the end of the day.
We will now work closely with challenge partners, EE, to develop our latest project, ‘Now Arriving’, which will be trialed for three months once built.
We are delighted to have won this exciting contest, especially against such tough competition. With this funding, we can now go beyond our current digital tourism marketing offering, to deliver even greater levels of personalised travel experiences for consumers.
